      Welcome to the SCROGGED! homepage.

Sample 1:  It's Christmas Eve, and Billy and Alice's parents are getting ready to leave their two whining children behind and escape for a night's peace. The taxi's about to arrive but dad is having problems. First his zip broke, and then he was sent back upstairs to change. Mum is beginning to lose what little patience she had.

Sample 2:  After an hour or so of total boredom, in desperation Billy and Alice ask their Grandad to tell them a story. He soon falls asleep, but the kids receive a startling visit from one of Santa's elves, who brings unwelcome news of cutbacks up at the North Pole.

Sample 3:  The action has switched to the mythical island of Orcadia, where the two self-centred children desperately try to redeem themselves. They are up against fearsome foes, however, in the shape of the horrible Scroggs. Their evil leader, Grimm, has called an emergency meeting to discuss a potentially deadly problem.

Sample 4:  Billy and Alice, meanwhile, in their search for the three magic coins they need to escape, have stumbled across the very odd Blip. Alice's sympathy and friendship earns her their first coin, before Blip takes them to meet his even odder companions, the Frablings.

Sample 5:  It's almost midnight. After an ambush by the Scroggs, Alice has been carried off, despite Billy's heroic attempts to protect her. With Trevor, the Scrogg traitor, he sets off to find their camp and save his sister. But there are other children in urgent need. Will Billy arrive in time? Will he save his sister? Will they get their presents? Will these questions ever end??
