The answers to all these quiz questions can be found in True Blue.

Think you know your football? Prove it!

I'll start you off with some straightforward Everton facts:

Everton's last great Wembley triumph was a 1-0 win over Man United in the FA Cup Final.

What was the year, and who scored the goal?

In 1985 the Blues just missed out on a historic treble, this time losing to Man United in the Cup Final. They did stroll to the championship though, and lifted the European Cup Winners Cup.

Who did they beat in the final?

The Actim Sports Index gives players points each week, grading their performances on a number of different factors, and then produces a ranking list.

Which 2 Everton players featured in the Actim Team Of The 2006-2007 Season?

Now for some trickier general questions .....

Which clubs play at:  Selhurst Park;  The Hawthorns;  St Andrews.

Which clubs have these nicknames:  The Magpies;  The Rams;  The Royals.

Which U is home to West Ham?    Which M is Middlesborough's ex-Spurs striker?

Which E is the city home of both Hearts and Hibs?  Which B is Real Madrid's stadium?

And finally a couple to really make you think .....

Everton are awarded an indirect free kick just outside the box following an obstruction. Mikel Arteta crosses, aiming for the head of Yakubu, but the ball misses everyone, just brushing the shirt of a defender on its way into the goal.

If you were the ref, what decision would you give?

You’re the captain of your local club team, and you’ve inspired them through their most successful season ever. You were pipped for the league title last weekend by two very dodgy late penalty decisions that saw you lose 2-3 to your biggest rivals. Next Saturday you have the chance to make up for it though, as you play them in the final of the regional cup. On the Monday your dad comes in with great news. After weeks of trying he’s finally managed to get hold of two tickets for the FA Cup final, Everton v Man United! They cost a packet. You’re both mad Blues fans, season ticket holders who go to Goodison every match. He’s absolutely over the moon. The only problem is, the FA Cup final is on the same day as your team’s final.

What would you do?

Tricky eh? Actually I told a little porky pie at the top of the page - you can't find an answer to that last problem in the book, because different kids would have different opinions on what was best.
