Sample 1:  Our play opens in the Workhouse at lunchtime, where the unfortunate orphans are about to receive their daily dollop of slop from the fearsome Mrs Ploppett.  TV chef (Jamie) Oliver makes a cameo appearance before being frogmarched off the stage. Then Olivia asks for more ....

Sample 2:  Olivia, having fled the workhouse, has arrived in town. Courtesy of Dodger and Badger, she is treated to an amusing demonstration of the pickpocket's art that could be entitled: 'how not to pick someone's pocket'. In this sample Dodger is out to impress Badger with his (non-existent) street cred.

Sample 3:  Olivia has proved her ability by stealing Fagin's wallet, as well as the watches off the wrists of Widger and Cadger. Impressed, Fagin has sent her out with Spudger and Sledger, the intention being for her to teach them a few tricks of the trade that they are currently sadly lacking. Unfortunately they pick on the wrong victim - violent schoolteacher Emily Crunge. They are chased, arrested, and end up in court.

Sample 4:  The three miscreants are each sentenced to six months in the care of social workers. Olivia finds herself the guest of pipe-smoking Arnold, his health-freak wife Sonia, and their two insufferably nice children, Lavender and Wolfcub. Olivia struggles hard to disguise her contempt for their way of life. The dinner table is the latest battleground.

Sample 5:  Having been contacted on her mobile by big bad Bill Sikes, Olivia has sneaked out to do a burglary job with him. All goes well ....... until Bill's dog Frou Frou gets in the way. They flee with the jewels, making their way back to Fagin's guesthouse in the early hours of the morning.
