Sample 1: Ethel and Mildred, aka the Ugly Sisters, are sitting in the library discussing the next move in their plan for Cinders and Prince Charming. Conversation inevitably turns to the upcoming Royal Ball. Unfortunately, as in all their dealings, personal rivalry is high, and the insults soon start to creep in. Sample 2: Buttons, the lazy, useless butler, has decided he's had enough. Nobody values him, nobody seems to realise that the household couldn't possibly function without him. He's leaving on a matter of principle - he's been asked to clean a bathroom. Fortunately his below-stairs partner Cat is there to talk him out of it, if a touch brutally. Sample 3: As we all suspected, Buttons is secretly in love with Cinderella. When her two sisters have disappeared off to the ball he decides it's high time he made his move. His suggestion that they might get to know each other a little better is greeted with the kind of reaction that is, to say the least, not all he might have hoped for. Sample 4: Far from being desperate to go to the ball and meet Prince Charming, our anti-heroine just wants some peace and quiet slobbing it in front of the TV, watching Holby City and scoffing crisps. It's going to take all the Fairy Godmother's persuasive skills to change her mind. At first sight it doesn't seem as if she's up to the task. Sample 5: Action switches to the Royal Ball, and the tables groaning with the finest food England has to offer. But will it be to the taste of Claude, our gourmet French fly? And how come a Parisian fly is munching the delicacies at a London banquet? He kindly explains, in his quaint but frankly outrageous French accent.
